High School Principal Statement

Principal, Justin NeelGreetings, Caddo Hills School District parents, guardians, students, and community supporters.

Welcome to the 2023-24 School Year. We have been on the Warpath to Excellence this past year and look forward to continuing with passion and determination to prepare every student for life. I am excited to welcome back our students, staff, and families to our 52nd year of education on the Caddo. We have a rich history of educational excellence in our county, region, and state. Through Caddo Academy, we have been recognized by the Office of Innovation for Education through the University of Arkansas. We also have been selected to participate in the Arkansas Behavior Support Network. BX3 is a capacity-building project that provides coaching to school behavior teams working to develop tiered systems of positive behavior support for all students. This is just another way our teachers are going above and beyond to provide a great educational experience for every learner every day.

I would also like to thank our community and corporate sponsors. As an entrepreneurial and community service leadership high school, we are greatly influenced by the needs of our local workforce and community. This year we plan on completing multiple community service projects within our communities. We also will work on strengthening our partnerships with industry leaders in our local and regional areas. This will ensure our students are engaged, exposed, and empowered to lead their educational journey. Whether college, trade school, military, or entering the workforce, we desire to see every student ready to lead themselves, their careers, and their communities.

As we embark and work throughout this new year, please know that Caddo Academy desires to have a positive working relationship with the families we serve. Please call on me or any team member throughout the year if you need support for your student or family. We are here to serve and support our amazing students and families. It is always a great day to be a Caddo Hills Indian!

In Service,

Justin Neel
